Quirky, funny, cute

3 Mar

I think my body is mocking me for what I said about Galloway’s training plan last night, five minutes into my treadmill run. It was something like, “woah, this is easy, maybe I should find an intermediate plan rather than a beginner…” Five minutes in was “easy,” ten minutes in was “okay,” fifteen minutes in- I took a water break. Last night was my first 30 minute session of run/walk intervals, and let me tell ya, despite the 45 second walk “breaks”, intervals are not easy. My heart got a nice workout (which is always good 🙂), and my legs are feeling it today. I have to say that the workout felt like it went by much faster than it would have, had I ran for 30 minutes straight. I had to pay attention to the time and the pace I was setting for myself, which gave me something to do instead of staring mindlessly at the TV, wondering when I’d be done. I completed 2.5 miles and burned over 400 calories in 30 minutes, which I am happy with, considering the intervals were 45 sec. of walking/25 sec. of running. I’m looking forward to taking this workout outside when it warms up and the wind dies down!

I’ve kind of been neglecting the blog challenge lately, so even though I’m on Day 23, this is actually probably somewhere around day 35 or 40 :). Today’s challenge: give pictures of 5 famous guys you find attractive. I must admit that my definition of attractive is more “quirky, funny, cute”, than “standard hot Hollywood guy,” but you can be the judge :):

Ashton Kutcher

If it weren’t for Demi, I would’ve married him. At least that’s what I thought when I was sixteen. He’s cute, he’s funny, he’s cute. After I saw him in A Lot Like Love, a crush was formed, and hasn’t really gone away since. Don’t worry, Jordan knows this (I’m pretty sure, at least?) :).

Matthew McConaughey

There’s just something about his blue eyes…and his voice.

Jesse McCartney

Okay, so, he was in a boy band (you might remember Dream Street?), and he looks like he was in a boy band, but I had a tiny obsession with said boy band (and Jesse) when I was twelve, and I still think the kid’s kind of cute. Give me a break :).

Ryan Gosling

What can I say? He won me over in The Notebook.

Jon McLaughlin

If you haven’t heard of him, he’s a musician, he’s an Indiana native, and he sounds amazing in concert. And the fact that I’ve had the opportunity to work with him before, interviewing him for a story I did at the newspaper I interned at, probably makes this comment a little unprofessional. But I’ll take the risk…he’s a hottie :).

Besides these five guys, I must give some credit to John Krasinski, better known as Jim Halpert to The Office watching crowd, as I feel like I’ve been posting his picture all over my blog lately :).

But he’s just such a cutie, don’t ya think??

Okay, I must go back to doing homework. If I want to make my “gym date” with Jordan tonight, I have to get going!

Do you find yourself attracted to “standard hot guys” or do prefer a little quirkiness?/Name two famous guys you find attractive.

I really like “cute” guys more than “hot” ones, which is why this challenge was a little hard for me when I did it:) But I love the first two!

These are like all the actors I am attracted to, especially Matthew McConaughey! Ashton Kutcher won me over in A Lot Like Love too.

Quirky beats “hot” any day of the week in my world! John Krasinski makes my heart melt, and I think Jesse McCartney is uber cute, even though I’m embarrassed to admit that! haha 🙂

Um….John Krasinski is my DREAM man! A sense of humor makes a guy SO much more attractive to me. And…okay, height, too. 🙂

Oh, and yes – I would LOVE to hear any ghost stories you have about Marian!!!
